Industrial Installation & Maintenance

Experts in Electrical Installation

Before carrying out a Industrial electrical installation, Winstanley Electrical  takes the time to understand what a client is looking for.

Depending on a company’s needs, this could range from a full electrical installation for a new Industrial property to a partial rewiring of your current premises – if you are planning to extend or renovate, for example.

Here are some of the questions we will typically ask when you first approach us about installation work:

  • What work do you need completing?

  • Do you need additional utilities such as heating or air conditioning?

  • What is the long-term plan for your premises?

  • What is your budget?

Once we have this information, we’ll put a design brief and quote together, so you can get a better understanding of the work involved and how much it will cost. While some parts of the installation will be essential, others won’t be. This means we can tailor your electrical installation to the unique needs of your business. Every aspect of the installation will have a fixed cost, saving you from any nasty surprises once the work is completed.

As a NICEIC Approved Contractor, you can rely on Winstanley Electrical  to provide a first-class electrical service. All our electricians are trained to the very highest standard and always ensure that any electrical work complies with the latest safety regulations, including Part ‘P’ of the Building Regulations, the Electricity Supply Regulations and the Electricity at Work Regulations.

Electrical Installation Certificate

After we finish your electrical installation, addition, or alteration, Winstanley Electrical will issue a safety certificate. This will be either an Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC) or a Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate (MEIWC), depending on the work done.

Keeping this certificate is crucial. It saves you money on potential future checks and acts as proof that your electrics meet current UK safety regulations (as of June 2024).  Moreover, if an electrical issue arises, a valid EIC or MEIWC demonstrates the installation was completed to a satisfactory safety standard.

Ongoing Electrical Maintenance

UK law requires employers to ensure a safe work environment, including electrical systems. Winstanley Electrical can help. We provide:

  • EICR testing: Every five years, we'll thoroughly inspect your electrical installations to identify any safety hazards (as required by current UK regulations, June 2024).

  • PAT testing: We'll also test your portable appliances to guarantee their safety.

  • Following any tests, we'll give you a clear quote upfront for any necessary repairs. We'll schedule work to minimise disruption and ensure your business continues operating smoothly.

If you need help with a commercial electrical installation, or would like to schedule a routine electrical test, give us a call today on 0845 490 0136
