Our purpose built, in-house Help Desk acts as a single point of contact for customers and is located in Winstanley Electrical’s head office. Should a customer need to call the Help Desk for any reason the experienced team will deal with the enquiry, and if necessary escalate to management. There is also the option for existing customers to have a bespoke Help Desk email address which customers can use. The National Inspection Council for Electricians Installations Contractors (NICEIC) is the UK’s leading voluntary regulatory body for the electrical contracting industry. It has been assessing the electrical competence of electricians for nearly sixty years and currently maintains a roll of over 26,000 registered contractors. NICEIC has developed a reputation amongst consumers, specifiers of work and industry for promoting safety, integrity and technical excellence. NICEIC contractors must go through a rigorous assessment process in order to be approved. The assessment covers a representative sample of their work, their premises, documentation, equipment, and the competence of their key supervisory staff. NICEIC contractors are then re-assessed on a regular basis to ensure continued compliance. Winstanley Electrical is pleased to announce that Andrew Stott has joined the Winstanley Electrical team due to rapid growth and welcomes him to his new role as Approved Electrician. In his role Andrew will perform electrical testing, electrical inspecting, respond to break downs and other electrical tasks. As an approved electrician Andrew is experienced and qualified to perform electrical tasks. Andrew has also been awarded a 2391 qualification and a 17th edition wiring regulations qualification. Andrew commented “I am happy to be joining Winstanley Electrical, an established business with over 40 years experience providing electrical services to the North West. Oltec fm is a national business which obtained Winstanley Electrical in August 2016, the mix of North West and National business allows for a very exciting time within Winstanley Electrical which I am pleased to be a part of” As well as being a qualified, talented electrician, Andrew is also a proud father who has a passion for boxing and football which he plays regularly.
